In 2019 Nvidia introduced its Omniverse platform and launched a beta version in 2021, which is considered a foundation for the metaverse. In brief, Omniverse enables 3D simulation and design collaboration.
At last, the metaverse can attract older generations to gaming as well. There may be difficult for the elderly to play with controllers on a computer or tv. But through metaverse, modern gaming styles will appear, and even grandpas can play chess (as a board game) in a simulated world with the avatar of their grandchildren in another country.
