In the gaming industry, there is no gaming journey like the iconic Metal Gear Solid series, and it’s unlikely that we will have something similar anytime soon. Crafted through decades of unwavering Japanese dedication, Kojima’s legacy now takes on a life of its own, leaving us in anticipation of another opportunity quite like it. Dive into the article to explore the potential triumphs of Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, the newest chapter in this legendary series!

What We Know Already About Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake!
The most recent version of Metal Gear Solid under Kojima’s supervision was released in 2015 with MGS V: The Phantom Pain, one of the eighth generation’s most successful works but never achieved its full potential due to Hideo Kojima’s conflict with Konami.
The Survive edition was released in 2018, demonstrating that as long as there is no news from Kojima, the franchise may be best off continuing its decline! Not long ago, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 was unveiled, known as Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. According to Konami’s official footage, it features the same gameplay developed by Kojima and his team for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
This gameplay style was also used in Metal Gear Solid: Survive, resulting in low overall quality. The question today is whether the controversial Metal Gear Solid 3 remake will be as terrible as the original, or if it will revitalize the series.

Positive Features of Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake
Despite any initial skepticism surrounding the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, there are positive aspects that should not be overlooked. Notably, the game’s narrative is pre-established. If characterization, plot twists, and foundational elements of the franchise remain intact, they have the potential to appease both veteran and novice gamers, given their proven track record.
Metal Gear Solid 3 is regarded as the first version in terms of storyline and story events. Thus, users do not require background information, and the game developers are not bound to provide explanations. Furthermore, many fans are eagerly awaiting the next entry in this series, and the development team has no excuse for the storyline’s complexity, at least at this point.
However, as previously said, the game’s gameplay and graphics appear to be wholly based on Kojima’s codes and assets from 2015. MGS V’s gameplay was one of the most comprehensive instances of the stealth genre at the time, and it may still be now. In other words, Kojima prepared everything for Konami.

Konami’s New Strategy in Metal Gear Solid 3?
Konami has lately revealed remakes and new versions of the Silent Hill franchise. Initially, all eyes were on the Silent Hill 2 Remake, and the results are yet to be seen. In the next stage, all original Metal Gear Solid versions were republished as part of a collection, with the remaining titles expected to be released soon.
Unfortunately, the necessary changes in this collection were not implemented, therefore Konami essentially republished the original versions! There are so many new versions of the Silent Hill franchise (in development) that it appears that money is the primary motivator. Konami’s attitude to these issues is evident, and it prevents us from being overly enthusiastic.
It appears that this Japanese corporation does not learn from experience and proudly maintains its unfortunate track record! So, is Konami’s recent change of strategy as positive as we believe? Not so far. However, if the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake goes well and the second half of the Metal Gear Solid collection has enough changes, the tables may turn. Until then, Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will most certainly be launched, leaving little room for criticism!
